As you board the beautiful Desert Princess - a Mississippi River-style Paddlewheel boat - and cruise beautiful Lake Mead, you will see the mighty Hoover Dam.
But hold on, the best is yet to come...the magnificent Valley of Fire - Nevada's first state park. As you enter this unworldly place, you will be at the bottom of what used to be an ancient ocean. You will see Aztec sandstone formations in fire engine red, with overwhelming valleys and gorges at every turn. These stunning formations were formed 150 million years ago.
Witness ancient Indian Petroglyphs up close. View, among many others, Elephant rock, Seven Sisters, Balancing Rock, and stone cabins built decades ago as a shelter for passing travelers. Then there is the incredible Rainbow Vista, with its multicolor mountains which will make your photo shoot one of the highlights of your trip.
